About me

who is Martin Ingesen?

I currently work as a senior associate at BDO CERT in Oslo, Norway.

I have a bachelor's degree in information technology with a specialization in programming from Westerdals Oslo School of Arts, Communication and Technology, and I am currently doing a part time master's degree in information security at NTNU, on the Digital Forensics track.

I have a strong passion for information security, and spends most of my time outside work keeping up to date with the security-world, and doing independent research around the subject. During my research I have found security vulnerabilities in several large websites and applications.

In 2017, I won (along with my friend Nikolai) the title "Master of Cyber Security 2017" at the HackCon conference in Oslo, Norway. The prize (title and 10 000NOK) went to the person with the most correct answers in a range of security questions, within a variety of categories.

I have had the honor to represent Norway in the European Cyber Security Challenge twice, in 2017 and 2018. In 2017 we placed 4th, and we placed 12th in 2018.

I am a holder of the SANS Lethal Forensicator coin.

I also enjoy participating in Capture-The-Flag contests and have won a few along with my team Edward Pwnden.

If you have any questions or would like to contact me, you can find me on Twitter, LinkedIn and [email protected].
